Later, the son of Aeneas, Ascanius, founded a new city called Alba Longa (thirty years after the foundation of Lavinio according Livy), which reigned on his descendants for many generations (from the twelfth to ‘ VIII century BC), until it came to the kingdom of Amulius, who had usurped the throne to his brother Numitor.
Numitor, who was the eldest, had inherited the ancient kingdom of Silvia Dynasty.
